Writing Persuasive Essay Topics For Elementary School StudentsSome years ago, my friend and I were discussing writing a persuasive essay topic for middle schoolers. We came up with five topics to cover in our class, and they were elementary, health, sports, math, and science.The elementary topic, for example, covered such subjects as the importance of exercise, recess, reading, and breathing. These things would help to keep our kids busy for a little while, and in the process, might give them a little better performance in school. The topics for the health topic included healthy food and weight loss, vitamin supplements, and exercise.Then there was the science topic. This involved a discussion about the first four minutes of human life. It was important that we discussed what happens at that point in time. Who were we, and what do we need to know?I told my friend she could choose whatever five essay topics she wanted, from the list of five that I had mentioned earlier. She chose 'Fis hing'Play,' which she thought would be good for her class.Then she needed to know how to begin a topic about something like mathematics, so she chose 'Basic Math'Number Formation.' Finally, she chose one topic that I had not mentioned yet, which was 'Physics.' She told me that science would be good for her middle schoolers, and she picked up the chalkboard and had it drawn up on the blackboard.Well, one of my friends had a good old science experiment that she did. Then she told us that she wanted to do an experiment using sticks, but she didn't have any. This was a good thing because that made all the difference. In fact, the idea of writing an essay topic for elementary science was interesting enough to motivate her to take the time to set it up.So I asked Cindy if she would mind if I presented her with the outline. She said yes, and it was great that I asked her before the experiment began. I then explained the experiment to her and she was happy to do it. She also said that she d idn't want to use any stock topics, and she told me to pick a topic that would have appeal to her eighth graders.We got good topic ideas for her students from the research, and then we brainstormed some more until we got the right five persuasive essay topics for her students. We used article writing for the first two topics and then wrote a persuasive essay topic in her own words. After that, we just focused on finishing the assignment and getting it on the board, so her students could read it and understand it.
